When she called me to let me know she wanted a photo session, I was certain that she wanted one of her family. Then, she let me know it was actually going to be of her and her brother…a gift for their mother. She’d wanted a photo of her children for the longest time, and they were finally going to make it happen. He came up from out of state to celebrate their father’s birthday. While here, they interrupted their very busy afternoon of football (back when the Saints were still in it…they are originally from Louisiana) to grab these photos. Indeed, they love their mother very much! Can you blame them? How could you not fall in love with such good looking folks?

Lubbock Family {Lubbock Family Photographer, Lubbock Garden & Arts Center Photographer}January 2nd, 2012Last year, we were blessed to photograph J and her kiddos. We were more than ecstatic when she called us to see if we would capture her entire family. This meant her siblings, their significant others, and their children…along with her parents! Bring it on, we said. The responded with their own level of sass. [...] |

That’s a might good gene pool if I must say so myself! Wowsers!

Chaetali + Matthew {Irving Photographer}June 21st, 2011Their’s is a love story, completely unorthodox, years in the making, highly adventurous, and wonderfully perfect for them. Their’s is a love story, completely unorthodox, years in the making, highly adventurous, and wonderfully perfect for them. She has been my friend for 15 years and I wouldn’t have missed the day for the world. Neither wanted a big hullabaloo. While my heart was a tad broken when she told me she was getting married here in the US instead of India, I was still ecstatic (and honored) to not only be witness to it, but to also celebrate my first ever Hindu wedding! It certainly did not disappoint! They had a very intimate and private ceremony with only close friends and family invited.
The DFW Hindu Temple is so very beautiful and everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend them! She made a gorgeous bride and he was a handsome groom. The ceremony lasted two hours, but the time flew by quickly. The ceremony required Matthew to speak in Sanskrit and most of it was in another language. However, despite not really knowing what was being said, the way he looked at her and the way she looked at him said it all: they loved one another dearly!

It was a fresh Spring afternoon with the perfect light peeking through the lush foliage at Robert E. Lee park in Dallas. I’d met Uti a few times prior to this, but I hadn’t gotten the chance to really talk with her and get to know her. I’d met Bill even fewer times and I probably said only a handful of words to him. Jaxson is a week younger than our Sugarbean. Baby Jayson is 6.5 months older than our Sugarbaby. Looking at their family was like catching a glimpse of our own family from the outside. And the love they have for one another…wow! Blows me away!
Thanks Uti & Billy for letting us share an afternoon with your beautiful family! Seriously, aren’t they all gorgeous!
